The students in my class at uni have all finished the recent 2 week placement. Now I haven't meet all of them yet beacuse we have split classes, however I know that at least 6 of them held rugby lessons at their school. 6 out of 50 dosen't sound like a lot, but you must remember, rugby is not a popular sport here and this is the first time some of these guys have tried teaching the game, which I think is bloody brilliant. If people are interseted in rugby they have to take the initiative themsleves and find out where the clubs (union) are and play outside of school. By giving them the chance to play rugby in school it allows the cance to get more kids involved and hopefully into league and helping my project expand.

We have a range of ages between the schools so some ball träning or did tag rugby with the younger ages and some did contact with the older ages. All in all it sounds like everyone loved it, the kids and the teachers.

It's great to get possitive feedback wink.gif

You're right, six out of fifty might not sound like much but all things considered it's an excellent start for a new sport in he country. Well done to you.
