London Griffins took another major step forward off the pitch this week when they completed the first of a number of planned Rugby League "taster sessions" in partnership with Ealing EBP.
Griffins coaches and players Adam Hill, Chris Heading, Ben Lee and Giovanni Cinque were in attendance as the pupils of Drayton Manor High School were put through their paces.
Year 9 boys and girls were introduced to the basics of Rugby League and as well as completing a number of skills drills they were also given an insight into the potential to develop a career in Rugby League be it on the pitch, as a coach or in community development.
Adam Hill from the Griffins commented "It was great to see the kids show such an interest in the game. They picked up many of the basic skills needed very quickly. Who know's we may have uncovered a couple of future Super League players today!"
