Title: Time to hang up my boots.

It is with regret that i have come to the decision to "hang up my boots" and retire from playing rugby league and union. After more then 30 years playing league i have decided to put all my effort into coaching and hope to pass on my experience to younger players. I started playing league when i was 12 years old, I have played for numerous club in the south and the north (in and around halifax) and saw quite a few player come and go, and some go on to play for professional club, players such as Mike Castle, Corrie Symms who play for London Skolars and Darrell Girffin who is now at Huddersfield. (Also very good luck to big joe who has become a London Skolars this year.) I will still play in friendly games and charity matchs. At the moment i am coaching rugby union with the 13 - 17 years olds, and have badges one and two in rugby league, and would be happy tohelp coaching at the Cavaliers or with other club.Thank-you to everyone for the last 30years and to the Cavaliers for the last ten.

Come on BULLDOG!! we got ONE more game for you me old mucker.The thrashing we are going to dish out to the boffins!!! You can help us in PRE-SEASON as well cant you mate.?. You aint leaving the CAVALIERS are you? You got to be one of the coaches at the mighty OXFORD CAVALIERS. YOU ARE A VERY GOOD COACH JUST VOLUNTEER PLEASE! You have helped me alot this season mate and i hope you will be at the CAVS next season to help me better my game!!!! :D :D :D :D

Respect mate, from one old git to another! You`ve put a lot of work in off the field, raising the clubs profile and finance`s.

Mark you will be missed by every referee in the country. They will have no need to carry a red card for cavs games anymore.
